Job Summary
TQ Certificate Services are looking for a skilled Multidiscipline Inspector with expertise in welding and painting to oversee and inspect various aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate should possess welding inspector certifications (CSWIP/AWS) and have robust experience in piping and pipeline inspection. Additionally, the candidate should hold valid ASNT NDT Level II certifications in four methods. This role involves ensuring that all welding and painting activities meet industry standards and project specifications. The contract duration is 9+ months and is extendable based on performance and project requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct inspections for welding and painting activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Use CSWIP 3.1 or AWS certification to inspect welds, verify welding procedures, and ensure the quality of welding work.
Oversee and inspect painting processes, including surface preparation, coating application, and final inspection to ensure adherence to specified standards and specifications.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintain accurate records of inspection activities, and document any deviations or non-conformances.
Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that welding and painting work meets required standards and specifications.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Address any safety or quality concerns promptly.
Act as a point of contact for clients regarding welding and painting inspections, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Mandatory Requirements
CSWIP 3.1 or AWS certification in welding inspection.
ASNT NDT Level II in four methods (valid certificates required).
Demonstrated experience in piping and pipeline inspection.
Willingness to work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Available for a 9+ month contract with potential for extension.
PDO approval/experience is preferable.
