Job Summary

Applus+Velosi is seeking a highly skilled Senior HSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) engineering with a strong focus on administering documentation, editing technical writing, and overall record-keeping. The Senior HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of HSE policies, procedures, and compliance records, as well as providing expertise in technical writing and editing to support the organization’s safety and environmental objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer and manage HSE documentation, ensuring that all records are accurately maintained and up-to-date.

Oversee the editing and proofreading of technical documents, including safety manuals, procedures, and reports.

Edit and review technical writing to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with HSE standards and regulations.

Develop and refine HSE-related documents, procedures, and reports to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

Maintain comprehensive records of HSE activities, incidents, and compliance efforts.

Support compliance with HSE regulations by ensuring that documentation reflects current standards and practices.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of HSE documentation and record-keeping processes.

Work closely with HSE teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy in documentation.

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE engineering or a similar role.

NEBOSH, NEBOSH IGC, ISOH, OSH, ISO certification preferred.
