Job Summary
The Certified Incident Investigator at OXAGON Projects plays a crucial role in conducting thorough investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and contributing factors. They ensure that corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence and enhance safety performance across project sites.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and conduct investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses using recognized methodologies and techniques.
Gather and analyze evidence, interview witnesses, and review relevant documentation to establish a clear understanding of events leading up to the incident
Utilize root cause analysis methods (such as TapRooT, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams) to identify underlying causes and contributing factors.
Prepare detailed incident investigation reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommended corrective actions
Collaborate with EHSS team members, project managers, and stakeholders to develop and implement corrective actions aimed at preventing recurrence of incidents.
Maintain accurate records of incident investigations, findings, and actions taken in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide training and guidance to project teams on incident investigation techniques, reporting requirements, and best practices for improving safety performance.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in incident investigation or related safety roles.
