Job Summary

TQ Certificated Services are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC Coating Inspector to join our team. The QC Coating Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of coating applications on various materials, adhering to industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of coating technologies, inspection techniques, and relevant safety procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of coating applications to ensure they meet specified standards and project requirements.

Perform tests on coatings, including adhesion, thickness, and cure, to validate their performance and quality.

Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of coating conditions and compliance

Monitor coating processes and identify any deviations from established procedures or standards.

Collaborate with production teams to resolve any quality issues or discrepancies in coating applications.

Ensure that all coating materials and processes adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Provide technical support and guidance to the coating application teams, including troubleshooting and recommending corrective actions for any issues encountered.

Stay updated with the latest coating technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices are implemented.

Prepare and submit detailed reports on inspection findings, quality control measures, and corrective actions.

Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to coating inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations related to coating applications.

Promote a culture of safety and ensure all safety protocols are followed during the coating inspection process.

Mandatory Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in coating inspection or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in coating inspection or quality control within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Valid certification in coating inspection (e.g., NACE, FROSIO) is required.

In-depth knowledge of coating technologies, inspection techniques, and quality control processes.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental guidelines related to coating applications.

Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
