Job Summary
TQ Certificate Services are seeking a highly skilled Aramco Approved QC Instrument Inspector with CBT qualification to oversee and ensure the quality of instrumentation and control systems on our project sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instrumentation and control systems, with a thorough understanding of international industry codes and standards related to Intrinsically Safe Systems and Electrical Systems for Instrumentation. This role involves inspecting and verifying the integrity of instrumentation systems, evaluating Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The contract is for 12 months and may be extended based on performance and project needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of instrumentation and control systems, including complete loop checking, wiring continuity, color coding, and system start-up to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of and adherence to international industry codes and standards, including ISA RP12.6, ISA RP12.2.02, ISA TR12, ANSI MC96.1, IEEE 518, IEEE 1100, IEC 60529, NEMA ICS 6, NEMA 250, NEMA VE 1, NEMA VE 2, NFPA 70/NEC, and UL 94.
Evaluate and validate Factory Acceptance Tests for instrumentation systems, ensuring that all equipment meets project specifications and industry standards before shipment and installation.
Inspect and assess instrumentation systems related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems, Remote Terminal Units, and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems.
Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address and resolve any issues related to instrumentation systems.
Ensure that all work complies with Saudi Aramco standards and other relevant industry regulations. Implement and enforce safety and quality control measures.
Mandatory Requirements
CBT qualified in instrumentation.
Aramco Approved QC Instrument Inspector.
Extensive experience in the field of instrumentation and control systems.
Ability to evaluate and inspect systems such as DCS, SCADA, Remote Terminal Units, and ESD systems.
Willingness to work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week.
